Michael Han, M.D.

Dr. Michael Han practices general neurology with a subspecialty in EMG and neuromuscular disorders. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.

Currently, Dr. Han is an Assistant Attending Physician at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY; St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY; and Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY. He is proud to use his proficiency in medical Spanish and Korean to serve these dynamic communities.

Dr. Han earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. There, his early interest in neurology led to publication in the Journal of Neuroscience Research. Dr. Han then returned to his native Ohio to obtain his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine internship in Columbus, Ohio at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Since then he has been in New York, having completed his neurology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Subsequent to residency, Dr. Han remained at Albert Einstein’s Montefiore Medical Center to complete a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology with a focus in electromyography (EMG).
