Physicians’ OpenMRI
Next Generation High Field Open and Closed Bore MRI Systems
Fujifilm Next Generation SYNERGY and VELOCITY Advanced MR Imaging Systems
Neurological Associates of Long Island, PC / Physicians’ Open MRI is the first facility in the country to receive the newest generation of multiplanar closed and open MRI machines from Fujifilm.
Our two on-site machines include the wide bore Synergy and High-Field Open Velocity MR imaging systems which offer the fastest scan times and highest resolution imaging acquired with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
Fujifilm’s Velocity open MRI provides for advanced imaging in a non-closed bore MRI machine with resolution and quality comparable to closed MRI system. SoftSoundᵀᴹ gradient technology reduces acoustic noise commonly associated with open MRI machines - ideal for patients with noise sensitivity.
As compared to the prior generation machines, the Synergy and Velocity Open MRI offer:
50% reduction in scan time optimized by parallel image acquisition technology
Closed MRI has a 70cm wide bore as compared to 60cm in the prior generation
FlexFit coils for patients with larger body habitus and broader shoulders available for both the Synergy and Velocity-Open MRIs.
Fujifilm’s Deep Learning Reconstruction powered by artificial intelligence allows for increased image resolution, reduced acquisition time and enhanced imaging of complex anatomy including reducing artifact around surgical hardware, dynamic imaging of cerebrovascular disease, DTI tractography, MR perfusion, arterial spin-echo labelling and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Quantitative volumetric morphometry to assess for cerebral atrophy and anatomic changes associated with neurodegenerative disease.
Hydro AG antibacterial coating on surfaces
SoftSoundᵀᴹ gradient technology reduces acoustic noise
